In our initial meeting with these two, Melanie mentioned that if she had the opportunity to do their engagement photos in the snow, that it’d be her dream come true! I figured that between everyone’s work schedules and the odds of a good snow storm on a weekend, it may not happen–so, when all the stars aligned to allow us to do their shoot on a weekend AND in the snow, we were so excited! We started at Parkville’s Nature Sanctuary and then ventured down to the river which was full of breaking ice rushing down stream. We had a great time hanging out with them and we actually stayed fairly warm (probably mainly just distracted) until we got next to the river and the sun started to set–then it got freezing =) Here’s just a few of our favorites from their session!
